Kent Monkman is an artist of Cree ancestry who works with a variety of mediums including painting, performance and film/video. His work has recently been shown at the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal and at Compton Verney, England. He has collaborated with Gisele Gordon on film and video works for over a decade.
