Writer, director and producer Kent Monkman is an artist of Cree ancestry who works with a variety of mediums including painting, performance and film/video. His work has recently been shown at the Musée d'Art Contemporain de Montréal and at Compton Verney, England. He has collaborated with director of photography, story editor and executive producer Gisele Gordon on film and video works for over a decade.
